THE ECCE -MICHIGAN EXAM
The Examination for the Certificate of Competency in English (ECCE) is a standardized high-intermediate level English as a foreign language (EFL) examination, designed by the English Language Institute of the University of Michigan.
You might use an ECCE certificate:
- As evidence of high-intermediate competence in English for personal, public, educational, and occupational purposes
- To provide evidence of your level of English to employers
- To apply for a job or a promotion, or when conducting business with companies worldwide.

How is the Exam Scored?
The minimum set of scores you need to get in order to pass the ECCE exam is three "Low pass" scores and one "Border Fail". Look at the chart to know about the scoring system:
